Kick off the holidays with the annual “5 Points Holiday Festival”, a community event, that will benefit the Northeast Georgia Food Bank. On Sunday, November 22nd from 1-5 pm along Lumpkin St. and Milledge Ave. there will be a chance to experience so many exciting, family friendly events.
Stop by Mint salon located with Slippers at 1694 S. Lumpkin Street this Sunday afternoon 1-4 p.m. for your shampoo/ blowdry to benefit their adopted Project Safe family. The shampoo/ blowdry is FREE with a small donation!
Hawthorne House on 1073 S. Milledge just stepped it up even further with One Party and A Trio of Events! Beginning at 1 p.m. enjoy an open house with beverages and refreshments to show off the newly redesigned showroom and benefit the Food Bank of North Georgia. From 4-7 enjoy food by Chef Peter Dale of The National and an opening preview for Field Trip, a limited time pop-up show by sister Rinne Allen and Lucy Allen Gillis featuring fabulous one-of-a-kind finds and hand crafted gifts. Hugh Acheson of FIve and Ten and The National will also be on hand to autograph copies of Phaiden’s newest book COCO, in which he has been named one of the Top 100 contemporary chefs in the world. COCO is curated by the world’s most notable chefs including Mario Batali, Alice Waters and Gordon Ramsey.
