Second Annual Five Points Artfest

The second annual Five Points Artfest will be held Saturday, June 6 in the heart of this friendly Athens community. The exhibition of local Athens artists begins at 2 pm and will wrap up at 7 pm that evening. Historic Five Points creates an inviting and comfortable backdrop for this exciting event.
The 2009 Artfest will have something to offer everyone with an eclectic mix of live music and art and new this year, the KidZOne. The KidZone will feature a dunking booth,delicious popcorn, freshly made cotton candy and kids crafts. This addition will be in the front of the delicious Marble Slab Creamery. Art will range in variety from ceramics to jewelry to paintings. Local artists will display their goods on the lawns of local businesses. The Artfest features names such as painter John Ahee, Rene Guest Jewelry and the photography of O.C. Carlisle and so many more. Live music will be centrally located on the lawn of Plain Jane and The Two Story Coffee Shop and Slippers.
