12th Annual UGA International Street Festival

Downtown’s College Square transforms into a hub of global culture on April 10, 2010 during the 12th annual UGA International Street Festival. Five Thousand annual visitors come to experience the festival of cultural displays, traditional costumes, dances and international bands. Dozens of UGA student organizations and local community groups sponsor informative and interactive displays representing the cultures from countries around the globe. Visitors will collect “passport” stamps from each of the countries represented; those who collect all available stamps will receive a ticket for a prize drawing. A children’s corner will allow young guests to participate in interactive activities. Door prizes and giveaways will be available from local sponsoring businesses.
