Opened in early 2015 by University of Georgia alum, Alan and Ryan Pope, The Place dishes up refined, Southern comfort cuisine derived from a collection of family recipes. Housed in a renovated space across the street from UGA’s North Campus, The Place’s first floor features an intimate dining room and the second floor boasts a bustling bar that churns out classic cocktails and a rotating selection of local and eclectic brews. The Place is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner with the bar staying open late.
